Merry Early Christmas

“Merry early Christmas!” said my brother with a smile.

“Come open a present, celebrate with me awhile.”

“Santa got an early start, and must’ve bumped his head,

cause, look, I found our presents underneath our parents’ bed!”

Pirates ! Part 3

Then from the darkness underneath,

A fiend with neither hair nor teeth

Wrenched our ship between his grip

And tossed us from the briny deep.

I have a hand, I have an eye

I have a telescope to spy.

So, on we walk to never stop,

My fearsome crew and I.

Hairy Helga

Pirates ! Part 2

As we sail across the sea

We smell the salty air of greed.

It drives us on from dusk ‘till dawn

To riches buried secretly.

Halfway through our fateful trip,

A giant duck attacked our ship.

He rammed with speed, so much indeed,

Our broken vessel nearly tipped.

Pirates! Part 1

Underneath a cloudy sky

Sail my fearsome crew and I.

To some I give the chance to live,

But most who’ve crossed my path have died.

All I drink are jugs of rum

From lunch until the morning comes.

And all I eat is rotten meat

That’s cooked below a wicked sun.

An ancient map, gripped in my hook,

Shows to us the way to look

To find a treasure far from measure;

Wealthy soon, no longer crooks!

Fish Baby

In a plane above the clouds
Young Walter cried so very loud.

His mother could not make him stop
And so his father threw him out.

With luck, he landed in a lake
And after just a couple days
He turned into a little fish
Who had an ugly
fishy face.

His parents took a camping trip
And caught an ugly little fish
“That fish looked
just like us, my dear!”
Said father, as he licked his lips.
